By 4PM Tuesday the contracts were exchanged with all legal checks done, all while the estate agent was threatening to sell to someone else. I used Austates a couple of weeks back to do a "simultaneous settlement" selling my apartment and buying a house. Although the process was tricky, Austates kept me up-to-date with everything, and it all went well. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best. You get what you pay for in this industry... When it comes to buying and / or selling your most important asset, it makes sense to use the best. Robert, Tony and the team at Austates have supported our conveyancing twice now, first time in 2020 and second time this year. We are return customers for a reason but I have to mention they go above expectations, I feel Robert cares for is clients, this was demonstrated this year, we purchased a property 1million+ and the property was a great deal but had some strata special levies due, we considered it apart of the deal but Robert without asking said those cost should have been detailed in our contract, as it wasn't detailed he said we had a good chance of getting the vendor to pay this amount, at settlement he saved us an additional 14k which to be honest we didn't really have, stretching ourselves as a young couple working extremely hard in our 30s to build a strong financial position. Considering the conveyancing fees were $1,950.00, Austates paid there own fees seven times over. It just shows how professional they are, Robert even said he was just happy to receive good karma for this. I highly recommend Austates Conveyancers!!
